Second prof for warrior, monk or nec?
Ok I have a warrior and was wondering whether to make his second prof a monk or a necro. I heard monk is good for solo since they can heal/buff themselves (this is appealing because I love to solo). However, I haven't heard much about a war/nec but i'd imagine they would be good since they have life siphon spells and the pets would be a nice damage add. Furthermore warriors being able to heal themselves is less appealing in this game as it would have been in say Everquest since there doesnt appear to be any downtime. I'm pretty new to the game though and I don't really know how this would turn out in the long run so if someone with a little more knowledge/experience could let me know i'd appreciate it.

I love the necro skills. I play necro primary though, but i am able to keep myself alive fairly well with all the blood skills (life siphon, vampiric gaze, vampiric touch, etc). But I also love be able to cast curses to stack on the degen and watch their life drain away. I would recommend the necro. there are some good necro skills to add damage to physical attacks (mark of pain, i believe is one) that would work great for a warrior.

I have a warrior/necromancer. What made me decide to go this route instead of warrior/monk was that I didn't just want to be able to heal myself, I wanted to be able to heal myself, and in the process, bring pain to my enemies. After they're slain, I then cast animate horror or minion. As if getting killed wasn't humiliating enough for them.
I'm pretty happy with my decision. |
